This limited-edition bourbon is a celebration of craft, country, and character—bold, patriotic, and authentically Texan. With its vibrant red-white-blue wax seal and full-bodied profile, it’s ideal for special occasions, veteran tributes, or collectors looking for something with both story and sip.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced at the Garrison Brothers Distillery in Hye, Texas, this expression uses the distillery’s flagship sweet-mash bourbon recipe—crafted from locally-grown grains and aged under the intense Texas sun. For this release, the bourbon is bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). The limited edition is packaged in a hand-dipped wax-sealed bottle featuring red, white and blue stripes, honoring American service members and first responders. A portion of the bottles were hand-dipped by veterans and carry commemorative dog-tag styling, underscoring the tribute intention.
Tasting Profile
-
Nose: Rich corn-sweetness opens the glass, giving way to warm butterscotch, honey-drizzle, and soft caramel. A hint of toasted oak and light spice (cinnamon or white pepper) settles in the background.
-
Palate: Medium-to-full bodied with a smooth yet expressive texture. Entry offers sweet corn pudding, vanilla-bean cream and toasted almond. Mid-palate shifts into oak char, baking spice (nutmeg/clove) and dried fruit (raisins or red cherry) with a subtle Texas-sun glazed edge.
-
Finish: Long and satisfying. The finish holds onto toasted oak, mellow maple syrup, a touch of leather or tobacco leaf, and a residual warmth that lingers without overwhelming. The agave-wine family character and Texas intensity make it memorable.
